Terms of Use
Last updated: August 28, 2026
This document sets out the basic rules you must follow when using ClassCong (the "Service"). By signing up for or accessing and using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these rules.
1. Nature of the Service
ClassCong is an interactive learning platform for running university courses and educational content. Its aim is to bring course materials, visualization exercises, code execution, quizzes, personal notes, and questions and discussion together in one place.
2. Current Status of the Service
The Service is currently in a preparatory stage. Sign-up and sign-in are fully functional, but learning features such as joining classes, creating courses, and running code are not yet available.
Those features will be released in stages once they are ready. Accounts and data created during the preparatory stage may be reset at the time of the official launch, and notice will be given in advance if that occurs.
3. Creating and Managing an Account
The Service offers social sign-in with a Google or Apple account only. No separate username and password are created.
Users with the same email address are treated as the same person and linked to a single account. For example, if you sign up with Google and later sign in with an Apple account using the same email address, you will be connected to your existing account.
Sign-up is completed only after you have read and agreed to these rules and the Privacy Policy.
You may not share or transfer your account to anyone else, and you are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.
You may withdraw from the Service at any time. The withdrawal procedure is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. User Obligations
You must use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and these rules. You must not interfere with the learning activities of other users or of instructors.
The information you provide when signing up must be accurate, and you must not sign up using another person's account or impersonate anyone else.
5. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is prohibited.
- Placing an undue load on the servers or the network
- Accessing or attempting to access the system without authorization
- Using another user's account without permission
- Collecting content in bulk by automated means
- Posting content that infringes the rights of others or violates the law
- Intentionally interfering with the normal operation of the Service
6. Restrictions on Use
If you violate these rules or seriously disrupt the operation of the Service, the operator may restrict or terminate your use of your account after giving prior notice. In urgent cases, notice will be given without delay after the measure is taken.
7. Intellectual Property
Rights in the layout, design, and source code of the Service belong to the operator of the Service.
Rights in course content created by instructors in the future belong to the instructor who produced that content or to their institution. You may not reproduce or distribute content beyond the scope of your own learning.
Rights in the notes, questions, and code you create on the Service belong to you. The operator stores and displays them only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
8. Changes to and Suspension of the Service
Because the Service is under development, its layout and features may change without notice.
The Service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, technical failures, or other reasons.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided as is, in its current state, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. Damages caused by the operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence are excepted.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The laws of the Republic of Korea govern the interpretation and application of these rules.
If a dispute arises in connection with use of the Service, the operator and the user will make good-faith efforts to resolve it through discussion.
11. Changes to These Rules
If these rules change, the changes and their effective date will be posted on this page. Changes that materially affect users' rights will be announced before they take effect.
12. Contact
